A 4KM WALK ALONG THE STURT RIVER TO RAISE MONEY FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE HUNGRY
Many people walk into MarionLIFE Community Services hungry.
Some haven’t eaten for a day, others for longer.
Some people have families to feed, others just need a little food for themselves.
The MarionLIFE Hunger Walk is an annual event to raise awareness about those experiencing hunger and raise money to support the work of MarionLIFE Community Services providing food, care and support to individuals and families in need.
The inaugural MarionLIFE Hunger Walk was held on Saturday 4 November, 2017. Watch the recap video below.
We had a fantastic time in 2017 with 91 people joining us on the day. Money raised will allow us to cover the costs of our Community Meal for six months, which equals 600+ meals served! Thank you!
A full album of photos from the day is available to view on our Facebook page here, plus there are a few photos from the day below. If you have any photos we’d love to see them; tag us on Facebook or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
